Our Background
Joshua Smith, our Founder, is a United States Air Force Veteran whose passion for family and love of the outdoors and adventuring prompted the start of the Bradshaw Mountain Adventure Company LLC. Josh is an officially permitted Outfitter Guide with the Prescott National Forest. As Prescott residents, Josh and his family spend their time living and Adventuring year around in the Bradshaw Mountains and surrounding areas. With over 40 years of combined Arizona backcountry and Prescott exploration experience, Josh and his staff have the ability to share the Prescott area with you on a safe, educational, and custom adventure. From secluded nature hikes loaded with wild life and plant life, wonderous breathtaking mountain peaks, to the exact location of wild edibles, caves, hidden swimming holes, and more there is plenty Adventuring for everyone. Josh is a devoted family man enjoying every adventure with his wife of 12 years Ashley and their 5 children; Everett, Sage, Caden, Kamryn, and Korynne. In the Air Force Josh was a member of the 3rd Combat Communications Group, and finished his military career as an Instructor teaching and educating Airmen Combat Communications before being Honorably Discharged. Josh is currently the Manager of Consulting Services for a Technology Solutions Company, having over 20 years of experience in Information Technology.
Our Mission
We are a large, outdoor loving family with 5 children. One of our littles is extra special being on the Autism Spectrum and having Waardenburg's Syndrome. Bradshaw Mountain Adventure Company believes everyone of all abilities, ages, and experience levels deserve to enjoy the great outdoors in a Safe, Fun, and Engaging manner. We build Adventures for all situations and requirements. Understanding what it's like traveling and going into new unknown areas (especially on limited time) we focus on offering custom vetted Adventure plans built for everything you desire, taking the guesswork out of your trip. Let our years of local Prescott area Adventuring help take the stress out of planning your next Prescott visit. We'll treat you like family; making sure your Adventure is catered to you and enjoyed from start to finish. Our goal is to educate and enable you on your Adventure so you feel empowered to go out again on your own! Of course we still want you to come back and see us.
